Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with expertise in cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and cloud migrations. This hybrid role is open to both fresh graduates with strong logical thinking skills and experienced professionals, with senior roles available for candidates with 3+ years of experience.

Cloud infrastructure management

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud environments on platforms like AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Utilise containerisation tools such as Docker and orchestrate workloads with Amazon ECS and Amazon EKS.
• Optimise cloud architecture for scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

Cloud migration

• Plan and execute migrations from on-premises systems or other cloud providers to AWS.
• Assess workloads, identify migration strategies, and ensure minimal downtime.
• Leverage AWS services such as AWS Migration Hub, Server Migration Service, and DMS.

Performance tuning and optimisation

• Monitor and optimise performance of cloud resources and containerised workloads.
• Conduct benchmarking, load testing, and fine-tune infrastructure for efficient operation.

Container and Kubernetes expertise

• Implement and manage containerised applications using Amazon ECS or Amazon EKS.
• Configure Kubernetes clusters to handle large-scale workloads and ensure high availability.
• Automate deployment pipelines for containerised applications.

Security and compliance

• Implement security best practices for containerised applications and cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards such as GDPR and HIPAA.

AWS and Generative AI innovations

• Gain exposure to Generative AI tools and frameworks.
• Experiment with AWS's latest technologies, including serverless architectures, containers, and AI services.

Requirements

• Proficiency in AWS, with hands-on experience in ECS and EKS for managing containerised workloads.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of networking (VPC, subnets, Route 53) and cloud security best practices.
• Logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Fresh graduates with a passion for cloud infrastructure and container technologies are encouraged to apply.

Preferred skills

• Relevant AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, are a strong plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
