Full-Stack Engineer

Architect and build scalable web applications end to end: responsive UIs in React.js and Next.js with TypeScript, RESTful and GraphQL APIs in Python, plus AWS deployment and CI/CD pipelines. A portfolio of production-grade applications is expected.

As a Full-Stack Engineer at Axrail, you will architect and build performant, scalable web applications from front end to infrastructure.

Frontend engineering

  • Develop responsive, interactive UIs with React.js or Next.js and TypeScript.
  • Implement state management and performance optimisation techniques.
  • Build reusable component libraries for consistent user experiences.

Backend development

  • Design RESTful and GraphQL APIs with Python.
  • Implement authentication and authorisation (JWT, OAuth, Cognito).
  • Develop microservices architecture for scalable solutions.

Cloud and DevOps

  • Deploy applications on AWS (Lambda, ECS, EC2, S3) using Infrastructure as Code (CDK).
  • Set up CI/CD pipelines with AWS CodePipeline.
  • Nice to have: containerise applications with Docker and Kubernetes.

Quality and performance

  • Write unit and integration tests with Pytest.
  • Implement caching strategies (Redis, CDN).
  • Conduct load testing and optimisation.

Technical stack

  • Frontend: React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS.
  • Backend: Python, with Node.js nice to have.
  • Databases: MySQL, DynamoDB.
  • Cloud: AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS), Serverless Framework.
  • DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, CDK.

  • 3+ years of full-stack development experience.
  • A portfolio of production-grade web applications.
