Project Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to spearhead our most strategic initiatives, from cloud migrations to Generative AI implementations. Whether you are a rising star in project coordination or a seasoned leader in tech delivery, this role offers the chance to shape production AI solutions while growing your expertise in AI and cloud technologies.

As Project Manager at Axrail, you will orchestrate end-to-end delivery of complex tech projects across AI, cloud and data on time and within budget, bridge business and tech by translating stakeholder needs into actionable project plans, and champion innovation by integrating AWS services and GenAI into project solutions.

Strategic planning and initiation

• Define project scope, OKRs and success metrics for digital transformation initiatives.
• Develop detailed roadmaps integrating Agile or Waterfall methodologies as needed.
• Identify dependencies and risks early, especially for AI and cloud implementations.

Cross-functional leadership

• Lead squads of engineers, analysts and architects with clarity and purpose.
• Foster collaboration between business teams and technical experts.
• Mentor junior PMs and contribute to our PMO best practices.

Execution

• Monitor progress using Jira, MS Project or ClickUp with data-driven dashboards.
• Conduct sprint reviews and stakeholder syncs to maintain alignment.
• Remove blockers proactively, especially for cloud migration dependencies.

Budget and resource management

• Optimise AWS resource allocation to balance performance and cost.
• Manage vendor relationships for third-party tools and services.
• Provide transparent financial reporting to leadership.

Tech and AI integration

• Stay current on AWS innovations and assess project applicability.
• Explore GenAI applications for project automation, such as status reporting and documentation.
• Guide teams on AI implementation best practices.

Core competencies

• 5+ years in tech project management, cloud or AI projects preferred.
• PMP or Agile certifications, or equivalent practical experience.
• Tool mastery: Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Slack.
• Cloud awareness: AWS services, migration frameworks, cost management.
